Sweet and tangy pulled BBQ chicken made super easy in the crockpot.
A crockpot is a beautiful thing! I love that I can just throw my ingredients in there, turn it on and go about my business, then come back to a hot meal ready for my family to eat. Plus, it’s nice to have a break from standing over the stovetop.
This crockpot BBQ chicken recipe is one of the easiest, tastiest crockpot meals I’ve tried. We use it for pulled chicken sandwiches and serve it with coleslaw or pickles on top. Add fries and a green salad on the side to make it a meal. It’s so good!
Tip: Use a quality BBQ sauce for the best flavor. I like using Sweet Baby Ray’s Original Barbeque Sauce. I usually like store brands, but in my experience they don’t work well for this recipe.
Also, if your BBQ sauce already contains brown sugar, reduce the amount of brown sugar in the recipe so that your chicken won’t turn out too sweet.
