This rich and creamy chocolate cream cheese frosting is made easily with only a few ingredients

Ingredients
1/2cupunsalted butter, softened
8ounceblock of cream cheese, softened
3cupspowdered sugar
1/2cupunsweetened cocoa powder
1Tablespoonvanilla extract
Instructions
Add butter and cream cheese to a large mixing bowl. Use an electric hand mixer or stand mixer fitted with paddle attachment to blend on medium speed for 3-4 minutes, until well combined.
Scrape down bowl with rubber spatula, then add powdered sugar, cocoa powder, and vanilla extract.
Mix on low speed (stopping halfway through to scrape down bowl) until all ingredients are incorporated and frosting is smooth. Frosting will cover 12-18 cupcakes, depending on how thick they are frosted. Make sure to refrigerate any leftovers!
