Ingredients

  • 16-20 oz apple juice
  • 2 ripe bananas, frozen
  • 1 lb. bag of frozen mixed fruit (blend of pineapple, peach, mango, and strawberry)

Instructions

  • To a high-powered blender, add 16 oz of apple juice and the frozen bananas, then top with the entire bag of frozen mixed fruit.
  • Blend until the ingredients start to combine. Then, add an additional 2 oz of apple juice and continue blending until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  • If the smoothie is too thick, add more apple juice 2 oz at a time, blending after each addition, until the desired consistency is reached.

Notes

*This recipe makes over 40 oz. of smoothie, so it’s enough for several people. If you just want an individual serving, make sure to reduce the proportions!
**Make sure your fruit and bananas are frozen and your juice is cold so your smoothie will come out thick. You can switch up the flavor of the smoothie by using a different juice or a different blend of frozen fruit, just keep the amounts the same. Keep the two frozen bananas though, because they make the smoothie thick and creamy.
