Single Serving Lemonade

Easy single serving lemonade recipe for the times when you want homemade lemonade but don't feel like making a whole pitcher!

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 Tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • ice cubes

Instructions

  • Add granulated sugar and 1/4 cup water to a microwave safe container. Stir together, then microwave for 45 seconds, or just until the water is warm enough to dissolve the sugar.
  • Remove from microwave and stir until the sugar is completely dissolved to create a simple syrup. Place syrup in refrigerator for about 10 minutes to cool.
  • Squeeze the juice from 1 large lemon, making sure to remove pulp and seeds. Measure 3 Tablespoons of the lemon juice into a 16 ounce glass.
  • Once simple syrup has cooled to room temperature, add it to the glass. Add 1/2 cup cold water to the glass, then stir everything together. Fill the rest of the glass with ice cubes and enjoy!
